Ambassador of Georgia Irakli Khutsurauli held a meeting with the leader of Finns Party of the Parliament of Finland, Riikka Purra

On June 14, Ambassador of Georgia Irakli Khutsurauli held a meeting with the leader of Finns Party of the Parliament of Finland, Riikka Purra. The sides discussed topics of deepening inter-parliamentary relations, new security challenges in the region and enhancing of bilateral cooperation. Georgian 

Ambassador stressed importance of gaining Finnish support to obtain the status of EU candidate state. Furthermore, the sides discussed necessity of obtaining positive decisions for Finland and Georgia from the NATO Madrid Summit to be held in June. The sides agreed that members of the European Parliament from Finns Party would further continue supporting Georgia.
